Jonathan India's bat has been decisive in a few Royals games this season, including the first of the doubleheader the Royals and Guardians had to play on Saturday due to the suspension of Friday's game. In Saturday afternoon's game at Kauffman Stadium, he went 1-for-5, but hit a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the tenth to win it. With this, the Royals just surpassed 50 wins, tying the Guardians. The Twins are close behind them, so these three teams will decide whether or not they have a chance at a wild card in the coming weeks, with Sunday's Royals-Guardians game taking on special importance.
Noah Cameron is expected to pitch for the Royals, who has a 4-4 record. He pitched six innings, allowing four ERs and seven hits in the Royals' 12-4 thrashing of the Cubs in the previous series. Cantillo will start the Guardians' Sunday afternoon game; Cleveland has won and been favored by odds of -135 or less in Cantillo's last two innings.
