The Chicago White Sox haven’t won three consecutive games this season. They will have a chance to do that feat on Friday as they play the Cleveland Guardians in Game 2 of their four-game series at Guaranteed Rate Field. The White Sox opened their intra-division series with the Guardians with an upset win behind six score innings from pitcher Erick Fedder and timely hitting from Tommy Pham. The White Sox remains at the bottom of the American League Central standings with a 10-28 record but the back-to-back wins against the Rays and the Guardians have given fans hope that they can turn their season around. The Guardians, meanwhile, still reign supreme atop the AL Central standings and will gun for nothing less than a payback win against the White Sox. Guardians RHP Carlos Carrasco (2-2, 5.67 ERA with 26 strikeouts) will be facing off against White Sox lefty Garret Crochet (2-4, 5.31 ERA with 53 strikeouts).
