Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers will meet in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals on Tuesday night. The Pistons are coming off a grueling seven-game battle in the first round against the Magic. Most pundits expected them to breeze past the Magic after they topped the conference standings with a solid .732 win percentage. JB Bickerstaff’s men will be keen to prove that Round 1 didn’t take a toll on them physically.
Like the Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers needed to dig deep in Round 1 to see off the Raptors in Game 7. The Cavs have looked complacent so far in this postseason tournament, throwing away a two-game lead to tie the series 2-1. Their clash with the Raptors clearly shows their struggles on the road, as they’ve lost their last three away matches in this tournament. They’ll need to do better against a tougher opponent like the Pistons.
