The Clemson Tigers (20-5, 10-2 ACC) will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard Saturday afternoon when they take on the No. 4 Duke Blue Devils (22-2, 11-1 ACC) at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, NC. This ACC clash between two ranked teams is scheduled to get underway at 12 p.m. EST on Saturday, February 14, with coverage provided by ESPN.
Clemson had been on a roll since losing back-to-back games earlier in the season to No. 12 Alabama and No. 10 BYU, going 13-1, 10-1 ACC before facing off against Virginia Tech on Wednesday. It was a game they never really had control of, as the Hokies led 40-33 at the half en route to a 76-66 victory, handing Clemson its second conference loss of the season. As for Duke, the Blue Devils got off to an 11-0 start before losing their first game of the season, 82-81, to No. 19 Texas Tech. They didn’t lose again until running into their arch-nemesis, North Carolina, last weekend (UNC won 71-68). The Blue Devils got back on track on Tuesday, beating Pittsburgh, 70-54.

I hesitate to take such a large spread against such a good team. But with Clemson’s dreadful history in Durham, it feels like the right choice. Duke has an incredible home court advantage at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Clemson has a solid squad and will likely keep it interesting heading into the second half, where the Blue Devils will pull away.
