=11.0ptThe Kansas City Chiefs look to continue where they left off last Thursday night when they defeated the Baltimore Ravens 27-20. This week, they will face a Cincinnati Bengals team that played one of the worst games of the weekend and fell at home to the lowly New England Patriots. In the KC win, the bend but do not break rule was applied by their defense. While they did allow over 450 total yards, they still held the Ravens to just 20 total points. Rookie speedster, Xavier Worthy, made his mark early as he took a carry 21 yards for a score and then caught another touchdown later in the game. For the Bengals, the news of Tee Higgins being out for the opener was just the start of their demise. Joe Burrow was sacked 3 times and the offense turned the ball over twice. Burrow certainly did not seem himself and has raised questions about his health from the performance. Defensively, the Bengals allowed the Pats to run all over them and finish with 170 yards on the ground. That could be exposed once again by the tough running Isiah Pacheco of KC in this contest.

The Bengals looked as bad as they possibly could look last week. That said, they now get the defending champions, on the road, with extended rest. This could get ugly in a hurry for Burrow and company. Tee Higgins is likely to be out once again and Jamaar Chase is still knocking off the rust from his hold out that limited his training camp and preseason. We like the Chiefs to dismantle the Bengals here in Arrowhead Stadium.
