The Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles are set to wrap up their three-game series on Sunday, with the Orioles aiming to complete a sweep. Baltimore secured a 4-2 victory on Saturday, marking their second straight win in the series and extending the White Sox’s losing skid.
Chicago continues to languish at the bottom of the AL Central standings and is now sliding further with inconsistent performances. The team has dropped series against the Texas Rangers and the New York Mets, and now finds itself on the verge of being swept by Baltimore.
While the Orioles also sit in fifth place within the competitive AL East, they are showing signs of life. Entering Sunday's matchup, Baltimore is 14.5 games behind the division-leading Yankees and 5.5 back of the fourth-place Red Sox.
Still, the team is beginning to find some rhythm, having won five of its last eight games. A victory on Sunday would give the Orioles their second three-game winning streak over that stretch and solidify their upward momentum.

Morton has shown flashes of his former self lately, giving up just six earned runs over his last 15.2 innings at home. He’s managed to limit the long ball recently, surrendering only two home runs in his past four outings. His most recent start saw him toss six strong innings with five strikeouts in a 5-2 win over St. Louis.
On the other side, Adrian Houser will get the ball for the White Sox. The 32-year-old righty is making just his third start of the season after signing a one-year deal with Chicago earlier this month.
