The San Francisco Giants are expected to march into Thursday’s series finale with the Chicago Cubs as slight -108 home underdogs despite topping the visiting team in the first two games at Oracle Park.

Meanwhile, the Cubs’ pitching might have hardly been felt by the Giants in the first two games of this series. Chicago, boasting a 3.84 ERA in the season, surrendered five runs in Game 1 before squandering 12 runs in Game 2. The Cubs’ offensive firepower has noticeably diminished in the series, scoring a total of five runs after two games.
