The Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls meet tonight at Chase Center for a cross-conference matchup where both teams are desperately trying to find their footing. The Warriors currently sit at 32-32, hanging onto the ninth spot in the Western Conference, but their recent form suggests a team teetering on the edge. They have gone just 3-7 over their last 10 games, averaging 112.3 points per contest while struggling to contain opponents on the defensive end. The Warriors' porous defense has allowed 120+ points in four of their last six outings, leaving Steve Kerr searching for answers among his youth-heavy rotations. The lack of interior presence has forced the perimeter players into uncomfortable help-defense situations, leading to frequent foul trouble and easy trips to the charity stripe for opponents.
Meanwhile, Chicago's stagnant offense has looked devoid of rhythm, failing to establish any consistent low-post presence against elite length. Chicago is in an even deeper hole, sitting 12th in the East with a 26-38 record and a 2-8 record over their last 10. The Bulls are coming off a disappointing loss to the cellar-dwelling Kings, where they shot just 41.7% from the field and struggled to facilitate any ball movement in the half-court. This is the second meeting between these two this season; Golden State took the first game in a 123-91 blowout back in December, but the rosters look significantly different today than they did then.

Our Golden State Warriors vs Chicago Bulls Prediction
The injury reports don't look good, particularly for Golden State. The Warriors will be without several key veterans, as Stephen Curry (knee), Jimmy Butler III (season-ending knee), Kristaps Porzingis (illness), and Al Horford are all sidelined. In their absence, Brandin Podziemski has stepped up as a primary playmaker, averaging 12.7 points and 5.2 rebounds over the last two weeks, while De'Anthony Melton has been a scoring spark with 14.5 points per game. Podziemski has shown remarkable poise, though his increased usage has led to a slight uptick in turnovers that the Warriors can ill-afford right now. For Chicago, the absence of Jaden Ivey's rim pressure makes them predictable, essentially forcing the hobbled Bulls into a perimeter shootout they aren't necessarily equipped to win.
Chicago has its own hurdles to clear; star acquisition Collin Sexton is day-to-day with a leg injury, and Anfernee Simons is also questionable with a wrist issue. Jaden Ivey and Zach Collins remain out. If Sexton can't go, the bulk of the scoring will fall on rookie Matas Buzelis, who has been impressive lately with 15.4 points per game and high-energy play on both ends. From a betting standpoint, the Warriors appear to have the upper hand despite the missing star power. Their superior bench depth and home record of 19-13 give them the advantage against a Bulls team that has struggled to win on the road all year. Expect the Warriors' system to prevail in a gritty, high-stakes affair. Our prediction for Golden State Warriors vs. Chicago Bulls: Over 226.5 points.
