The Chicago Bears (4-12 SU, 7-7-2 ATS) visit the Green Bay Packers (11-5 SU, 9-7 ATS) in a matchup of two teams heading in complete opposite directions. The Bears had an easy schedule to start the season and started 4-2 by beating up on the AFC South and Carolina. Since then, Chicago has lost 10 straight and has looked completely checked out for the past two months.
Green Bay has clearly made itself the No. 4 team in the NFC, as it has gone 0-5 against Detroit, Minnesota and Philadelphia and 11-0 against everybody else. However, the fact that the Packers play in the NFC North and get two matchups with the two best teams in the conference has really hurt them in terms of tiebreakers. By virtue of Washington playing an easier conference schedule (the Commanders had losses to AFC playoff teams Baltimore and Pittsburgh), the Commanders own the tiebreaker for the No. 6 seed. And that means that if Green Bay doesn’t win, it’s going to Philadelphia next week and would face the NFC North champion in the divisional playoff.
