Both the Bears and Bengals will try to shake off disappointing losses from last week when they face off at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, OH. Kickoff for this NFC vs. AFC battle is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on CBS.
Chicago had been on a four-game win streak before playing a struggling Baltimore Ravens team last week. But getting Lamar Jackson back led to a dominant performance by the Ravens, leading to a 30-16 win for Baltimore as the Bears stalled out on both sides of the ball in the second half. However, while a 4-3 record is still respectable, the wins were not exactly against strong competition and were not particularly dominant (except for the Dallas game). They only beat the Raiders and Commanders by one, and the Saints gave them a good fight in the other (26-14). With the loss to the Ravens, fans are left wondering just who the Bears are. As for the Bengals, things were looking up after the win over the Steelers, but then they gave up a massive lead in the fourth quarter last week to a poor Jets team.
The Bears opened as 2.5-point road favorites for this game, and it looks as if that will be the case on Sunday.

The Bears have been hot and cold on both sides of the ball all season long. So, it wasn’t too shocking to see them play a solid first half and then go flat against the Ravens in the second half. With Joe Flacco at quarterback, the Bengals' offense has come alive. But then they failed on both sides of the ball so much in the fourth quarter vs. the Jets, they gave up a 16-point fourth quarter lead to arguably the worst team in the NFL. So—who wins in this game? I’ve got to go with the Bengals. Joe Flacco has the Cincinnati offense moving, and I don’t think the Bears can stop them. Chicago may have a lead at the half, but when they come out flat in the second half again, the Bengals will secure the win.
