Huge summer investments and the arrival of Xabi Alonso as manager raised the bar for Chelsea this season, exceeding the expectations of their VAR team. However, they've had a distracting start; currently sitting in tenth place, the international break provided them with a welcome opportunity to recover from their 3-0 defeat to Brentford.
Even so, Xabi Alonso's Chelsea have shown flashes of brilliance in attack, particularly at Stamford Bridge, where they combined for an impressive 14 goals in four Premier League and EFL Cup matches.
Bournemouth, on the other hand, are facing their own challenges. Their Premier League campaign has been sluggish, managing only three draws in five games. The Cherries are now managed by Marco Rose following Iraola's departure to Liverpool. Bournemouth have at least enjoyed a very positive European debut, defeating Real Sociedad 2-1 in the Europa League, while in the EFL Cup they progressed with a resounding 4-0 victory over Lincoln.

However, after a slow start to their Premier League campaign this year and with a manager still trying to implement his playing style, they look somewhat vulnerable against Chelsea.
