On Saturday evening, one of the Major League Soccer venues to fill up with expectant fans will be Bank of America Stadium, where Charlotte FC and Inter Miami will get down to business. Thank to what has been a fantastic recent run of results, with Dean Smith's men winning not only their last game but each of their last eight league fixtures, the hosts are firmly on their way to making the playoffs. As things stand, they're not just in the playoffs, but they're among the favorites to go all the way to MLS Cup glory.
MLS Cup glory is also what Saturday's visitors are chasing, there can be no doubting that, though it's been far less dominant stuff from the Inter Miami boys than in what during the previous campaign.
