=11.0ptThe 4-2 Washington Commanders have looked like the best team in the NFC East and while losing, played good ball against one of the best teams in the league last week. The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Commanders 30-23 last Sunday. In the loss, the Commanders’ run game was simply not the same without Brian Robinson Jr. They were held to just 52 rushing yards which allowed the Ravens defense to focus on stopping Jayden Daniels and the aerial attack. The Washington defense allowed over 480 total yards, with over 300 coming in from the passing game. This Sunday, they face the 1-5 Carolina Panthers, who are currently on a 3-game losing streak. After losses to Cincinnati and Chicago, the Panthers got smacked by the Atlanta Falcons, 38-20. Andy Dalton threw 2 interceptions in the loss and the defense gave up almost 200 yards on the ground. The Panthers are now last in the league in points allowed per game (33.8) and 4th worst in points scored per game (17.2). When near the bottom in both categories, it makes it nearly impossible to win games in this league. After winning his season debut, Andy Dalton has not looked that much better than Bryce Young.
