=14.0ptIt has been a roller coaster of a season for the Atlanta Falcons. After a 6-3 start with Kirk Cousins leading the offense, things seemed to trending in the right direction for these Falcons. However, a 4-game losing streak, a decision to move on to Michael Penix Jr at QB, and then winning 2 of their last 3 games; the Falcons are fighting for their postseason lives in this final game of the regular season. They face a Carolina Panthers team that has also seen a QB change that ended up having their original starter, Bryce Young, being given back the role in the later part of the season. At 4-13 on the year, the Panthers have lost 5 of their last 6 games. They did defeat the Cardinals 2 weeks ago 36-30 but were than trounced by the Buc last week, 48-14. While the Panthers can not make the postseason, they can play spoiler by defeating their division foe here and eliminating them from the contention. When these teams met earlier in the year, the Falcons topped the Panthers 38-20. However, that game featured Kirk Cousins for Atlanta and Andy Dalton for the Panthers. There will likely be a much different outcome in this meeting.
