The 2026 Stanley Cup Finals move to Nevada on Saturday as the Vegas Golden Knights host the Carolina Hurricanes at T-Mobile Arena in Game 3.
The series has gotten off to a high-scoring start, and another fast-paced contest could be on the horizon. Both teams have offensive talent spread throughout the lineup, and Vegas has received offense from unexpected sources.
In Game 1, Brayden McNabb, who typically doesn’t play a major role on offense, became only the seventh defenseman in NHL history to record three assists in the opening game of the Finals.
Meanwhile, Brett Howden has matched Vegas’ record for most goals in a single playoff run. After scoring 12 times in 58 regular-season outings, he has 13 goals in 18 playoff games.
Carolina has had a tough time containing the Golden Knights’ attacking threat. However, they have reason to believe they can outscore John Tortorella’s side. The Hurricanes have reached the Finals despite the first line underperforming, but the trio of Sebastian Aho, Andrei Svechnikov, and Seth Jarvis came alive late in Game 2. Each of them had a power-play point.
Jarvis scored the game-winner in overtime and will travel to Vegas full of confidence, which could rub off on his teammates.

Our Vegas Golden Knights vs Carolina Hurricanes Prediction
The Golden Knights are back in the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since winning the championship in 2023. T-Mobile Arena will be rocking on Saturday night, and the home team will aim to feed off the crowd’s energy.
Carolina is best known for its suffocating defense. But Rod Brind’Amour’s team has also dominated offensively in the playoffs, scoring at least three goals in 10 of 11 games since Round 2. They have the tools to match Vegas’ sharpness up front.
Our prediction for Vegas Golden Knights vs. Carolina Hurricanes: Over 5.5 goals.
