After edging Valentin Royer and Arthur Cazaux, Norrie eliminated his third French opponent in the competition, Kyrian Jacquet, 4-6, 7-6, 6-4. It wasn’t the easiest of wins for Norrie, who had to overcome 18 aces from the big-serving Jacquet. Norrie leaned on his footwork and anticipation to hold 14 of his 16 service games and then broke Jacquet twice to secure his spot in the semis.

After squeaking out a close win over Flavio Cobolli, Sonego delivered a better performance against Daniel Altmaier of Germany, 6-4, 7-6, to reach the semifinal round. Sonego fired 10 aces and won 79 percent of his first serves to hold 100 percent of his serves. He also showed poise under duress in the pressure-packed second-tiebreaker to prevent Altmaier from taking the match to the limit. Sonego has now won five of his last six matches and improved his 2025 indoor record to 8-5.
