The Houston Texans are off to a solid start at home, having won both games. But they have a real challenge this week if they remain undefeated at NRG Stadium as they welcome the Buffalo Bills to town for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
Nico Collins leads the Texans with 30 receptions and leads the team and the NFL with 489 yards receiving through four games. Diggs is not far behind him with 25 receptions but with less than half the yardage (233). Houston has leaned on the passing game with Joe Mixon out with an injury, which may be tough against the Bills No. 6 pass defense. However, are they as good as they look on paper, or does it just look that way because teams are too busy running on the Bills to pass?
As for the Bills, while they are 3-1, it is hard to see what the identity of the team is like after four weeks. They’ve been a passing team in recent years, but they aren’t even averaging 200 yards per game. It’s not like they are making up for it with a dominant run game; they’re around the middle of the pack with 110 ypg.

I don’t think the Bills have figured out the offense nearly as well as some may think. It is averaging about 70 fewer yards a game (roughly 50 passing and 20 rushing). Yet somehow, they are averaging more points per game, which tells me the offense has been opportunistic when gifted with a shorter field. But they will not get those gifts from a Houston offense that doesn’t turn the ball over. This will be a challenging game won by whoever has the ball last.
