Sunderland will be looking to continue their superb Premier League campaign when they travel to the south Coast on Saturday to take on mid-table Brighton. 

The Black Cats are on a massive high after last Sunday's sensational 1-0 victory over bitter rivals Newcastle in the Tyne-Wear Derby. That result was the seventh win of the season for Régis Le Bris's men, as they continue to defy the experts who predicted they would make a swift return to the Championship. 

It's been a mixed bag of a season so far for Brighton. Memorable victories over the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle have been offset by several underwhelming performances in recent weeks, including a drab display in the 1-1 draw against lowly West Ham in their last home game. Unless Fabian Hürzeler can find some consistency, it is hard to see them competing for European places.
