In the EPL on Saturday, Brighton and Liverpool will get things going with an early game at Amex Stadium. After their rather disappointing performance against Spurs, the visitors will be hoping to return to winning ways, but it won't be easy for Arne Slot's men to grab all three points, especially after their UEFA Champions League exertions. Can they win for the first time in three league games? Or will there be more misery heaped on a team that has come nowhere near to defending the title that they worked so hard to earn last season? 

The Seagulls will also be looking to do a little better having only just scraped beyond the Black Cats last time out. Then again, a win is a win, and the hosts will likely take any type of victory that comes their way here. Fabian Hurzeler's men are in decent form having won three of their last four league games, though they've only won one of their last five in front of a home crowd, which won't exactly please the German boss.

Our Brighton vs Liverpool Prediction

When these two teams met at Anfield earlier in the season, Yankuba Minteh caused the Reds lots of problems, with the winger looking hugely dangerous on the break. Given that the visitors aren't in a great place right now, it's really not difficult to see one of Brighton's most dangerous offensive players getting plenty of joy in this game. 

Only Danny Welbeck has produced more direct goal contributions for the Seagulls than Minteh, who bounced back to form last time out, scoring against Sunderland. With that under his belt, the Gambia international should be feeling confident. At generous-looking odds of +255, against an out-of-sorts Liverpool team, I'm betting on him to register a seventh goal contribution of the EPL season.
