Brandon Royval (17-9-0) and Lone’er Kavanagh (10-1-0) will meet in the UFC Flyweight division on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Brandon Royval will fight to bounce back from back-to-back defeats against Joshua Van and Manel Kape. The last time he was in the Octagon was in December 2025 when he lost to Kape via a KO punch in Round 1. The “Raw Dog” will be desperate to win again this weekend and improve his No. 5 ranking in the division.
Lone’er Kavanagh is still a newcomer in the division, having joined the franchise in August 2024. The Englishman announced his debut during the DWCS with a Round 1 KO win over An Tuan Ho before defeating Jose Ochoa and Felipe dos Santos. His winning run ended when he lost to Charles Johnson via KO/TKO last year, before bouncing back to defeat Brandon Moreno in February via unanimous decision. He’s one of the most exciting talents in the division.

His failure to destroy a washed-up Moreno via KO or submission also means he may struggle to finish another experienced fighter like Royval. We also expect Royval to bring his wrestling skills to the table, though the height difference may not favor him during takedowns.
