Brandon Nakashima vs Marton Fucsovics Prediction & Picks - ATP Japan Open

The matches are coming thick and fast in this ATP 500 tournament in Tokyo, much to the delight of the Japanese crowd! It's now time to watch the first round of 16 matches, including a duel between 24-year-old American Brandon Nakashima and 33-year-old Hungarian Marton Fucsovics. 

Brandon Nakashima seemed to be struggling in recent weeks because, despite getting off to a great start in the tournaments he was playing in, he couldn't keep up his form in the second rounds. But he seemed to bounce back at the Chengdu tournament last week, winning two straight matches against Juncheng Shang and Marcos Giron. After defeating Jordan Thompson in a very close first-round match, he could still face some difficulties in this matchup.

Marton Fucsovics, meanwhile, entered this tournament through qualifying, winning in just two sets against F. Misolic and M. Arnaldi. He made a particularly strong impression in the first round, eliminating top seed Frances Tiafoe in a three-set match. Although he has played in only a few tournaments this summer, he was exceptional in Winston-Salem, winning the title against Botic Van De Zandschulp.
