Manchester United's slim Champions League hopes could be extinguished if they fail to beat Bournemouth on Saturday. United are currently 11 points behind Spurs and Aston Villa in the race for a top four spot, and with just seven games remaining, the Red Devils will need to be virtually perfect to overcome that gap. Things would be looking decidedly better for United had they not conceded late goals against Liverpool, Chelsea and Brentford in their last three fixtures. 

They won't find it easy against a Bournemouth team performing far better than many experts predicted. The Cherries currently sit in 12th place with 39 points, meaning their Premier League status is virtually confirmed for next season. Last week's defeat at Luton was their first reverse in six, and they have won their last three games at the Vitality Stadium. When the two teams met earlier this season, Bournemouth cruised to a 0-3 victory at Old Trafford.
