The Boston Bruins look to stay hot on Tuesday against the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center.
The Bruins had a six-game losing streak in late December, but they have looked like a completely different team in 2026. Marco Sturm’s side heads to Dallas with a six-game winning run, allowing only six goals during that stretch. It includes a huge 10-2 win over the New York Rangers.
Boston will try to match its longest winning streak of the season on Tuesday, and the team seems well-positioned to do it. The Stars have had a tough time since the holidays, dropping 10 of their last 12 games.
Initially, the defense was a worry for Dallas coming out of the Christmas break. Now, the team has looked hopeless in the offensive zone. Glen Gulutzan’s men have been limited to just one goal in each of the last three games.
For the season, Dallas still holds a strong attacking record, averaging 3.27 goals per game. With offensive talents like Mikko Rantanen and Jason Robertson, it should be only a matter of time before things begin to click again for the Stars.
