Notts Forest's first European game in 30 years is a tricky trip to Spain, as they take on Real Betis in the first round of Europa League fixtures. New Forest boss Ange Postecoglou has had a tough start to life at the City Ground and Saturday's 1-1 draw at Burnley means he is still searching for his first win since taking over from Nuno Espirito Santos last month. The Australian's appointment wasn't universally acclaimed by fans, so if he doesn't start picking up some wins in the near future, the rumblings of discontent will grow steadily louder from the Forest faithful.
Betis have had a tupsy turvy start to the La Liga season. Saturday's impressive 3-1 win over Sociedad moved Manuel Pellegrini's side up to sixth in the standings, but the veteran Chilean coach will be ruing dropped points against the likes of Levante and Celta Vigo in recent weeks.
