One of Thursday's most interesting UEFA Europa League clashes, in the sense that both teams have plenty to play for, is the one taking place in the Spanish city of Seville, where Real Betis will take on Dutch opposition in the form of Feyenoord. The visitors aren't currently on course to feature in the next phase of the competition, but if they can defeat their Spanish hosts here, then they may just make the playoffs. 

In contrast, the out-of-form hosts are not fighting for a place in the playoffs, oh no. Instead, Manuel Pellegrini's men are fighting for a place in the top eight, which would see them advance straight to the Round of 16. The visitors are going to go for it in Seville, they've got no other choice, and I really woudn't be surprise if their cavaliar approach yielded goal-scoring dividends. After all, the team coached by legendary Dutch forward Robin van Persie knows how to score goals, while let's face it, the visitors are up against a home team that looked all over the place at the weekend, conceding two goals (and lots of chances) against an Alaves team fighting relegation.
