Beneil Dariush vs Benoît Saint Denis Prediction & Picks - UFC #322

The lightweight division could produce a complete banger this Saturday as Beneil Dariush (23-6-1) takes on Benoit St. Denis (15-3-0) in the opening fight of the UFC 322 main card. Dariush is currently ranked 8th while St. Denis sits at the 13th spot in the rankings. Recently, many were questioning if Dariush was still the same fighter. After having his 8-fight win streak snapped by Charles Oliveira in 2023, he was then taken out in his next fight by Arman Tsarukyan.

Both losses came via KO/TKO but he did bounce back this past June when he secured a unanimous decision victory over Renato Moicano. He now faces a guy in St. Denis who is coming off back-to-back submission victories. Maurcio Ruffy and Kyle Prepolec were the two latest victims of St. Denis who now has 11 of his 15 wins coming via submission. However, those wins came after back-to-back losses that he suffered at the hands of Moicano and Dustin Porier. Let us note that all 4 losses that these two have had over recent years have come at the hands of some serious talent. This should be a very evenly matched fight that is a great kickoff for a main card that could be one of the best of the year.
