The Euroleague match between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Olympiacos will be played on neutral ground at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in Belgrade, Serbia. The game is scheduled for 9 p.m. local time on Thursday, October 16, 2025.

This season, Maccabi Tel Aviv is facing more or less the same problems as last year. The team continues to play Euroleague games away from home and without the support of its fans, which is a huge disadvantage. This situation also complicates the club's ability to attract top-level players, despite having managed to put together a respectable roster. Maccabi was eliminated by Hapoel Jerusalem in the semifinals of the Israeli League Cup, but its only victory in the competition so far came against Hapoel. In their last game, Maccabi lost 71-92 to Barcelona on this same court.

Olympiacos, on the other hand, is once again chasing the goal it missed last season: winning the Euroleague.
