One of the venues to be called into UEFA Champions League action on Wednesday evening will be BayArena in the German city of Leverkusen, where Dutch outfit PSV will be the ones to knock at the door of Bayer, who haven't made the most fluent start to the new campaign. Having lost not only their title winning manager to Real Madrid but also some key players over the summer, the early parts of the season presented the hosts with plenty of teething problems. After just two games, they fired Erik ten Hag, appointing Kasper Hjulmand, who has so far steadied things by delivering two wins and two ties in all competitions.
It's been a mixed start to the new season for Wednesday's visitors, who were defeated by Belgian opposition during the first round of UCL games, before tying one and winning one in the Eredivisie. Can they go to BayArena and upset the hosts? We'll soon find out.
