Following a pause in top-flight action across Europa last weekend, with internationals instead taking the stage, LaLiga returns this weekend. On Sunday, giants Barcelona will play in front of a home crowd at their temporary venue of Estadi Johan Cruyff. Knocking on the door will be Valencia, who after a rocky start, tying with Real Sociedad at home and losing to Osasuna on the road, got their campaign up and running with a win last time out, beating Getafe by three goals to zero at the iconic Mestalla.
As far as the Barca boys are concerned, the season has started well, with the men from Catalonia winning each of their opening two games, scoring six goals in the process. However, they didn't go into the international break with the biggest smiles following a 1-1 tie with Rayo Vallecano. This game represents a chance to regain the winning thread.
