Meanwhile, Krejcikova is in a race against time as she tries to recover from a thigh injury she suffered at the Eastbourne Open. Krejcikova, who defeated Jasmine Paolini 6–2, 2–6, 6–4 to win her second Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, has only played three grass-court matches in the buildup, losing to Rebecca Sramkova in the first round at Queens 6-4 6-3 before edging Harriet Dart 6-3 6-7(4) 7-5 and Jodie Anna Burrage 6-4 4-6 7-6(3) at Eastbourne.
