The Toronto Blue Jays will try to get even with the Baltimore Orioles in the second game of their series at Roger Center on Friday.
The Blue Jays absorbed a punch in the mouth from the Orioles on Opening Day, giving up six home runs in a 12-2 loss. Jose Berrios allowed six earned runs and three homers in 5.0 innings, while second baseman Andres Gimenez drove the only two runs for Toronto with a two-run blast in the fourth inning,
The Orioles could not draw up their opening day better as they unleashed an offensive avalanche on the Berrios and the Jays. Adley Rutschman belted two homers while Tyler O’Neill recorded a homer on opening day for the sixth straight year – an MLB record.
