Knicks continue to convince, so much so that they outscored the Pacers on Tuesday in all four quarters to leave a final score of 128-115. In the betting, only the Cavaliers, Celtics and Thunder surpass the New Yorkers in terms of chances of taking home this NBA championship. They made more than half of the field goals they attempted and Karl-Anthony Towns scored 40 points, in his second best performance so far in 2025. Against the Hawks at Madison Square Garden it will be the 8th time this season that the Knicks play consecutive nights without rest, having a record in those cases of 4-3.
This is the 4th meeting of the season between the Knicks and Hawks, the last two took place in New York and in those they split victories. The Knicks won 119-100 in their last game on January 20th despite seven different Hawks players scoring in double figures that night.
Hawks won't want to lose the momentum of three straight wins that has them two games away from playing 500 basketball. The day before the Knicks game they beat the Magic 112-106. Young didn't have a good night, but responded in the nick of time to break a late 99-99 tie.
