Finally, the Braves are hitting the four starters Brian Snitker would have liked to see hit all season. On Monday against the Royals, he lined up Profar at leadoff, Olson at second, Acuña at third, and Riley at fourth. Between the four starters, they drove in eight runs and went 7-for-20 between them. Profar returned from his suspension, Riley also from an injury, and Acuña from a more serious injury, but since his return, the Venezuelan has been unstoppable, reclaiming his title as "face of the Braves" with a home run of over 460 feet. Acuña recorded 14 in a time as short as it was unthinkable.
However, this didn't mean automatic wins for the Braves, who, on the contrary, must somehow cover up the injuries to their starting staff, which left them without Sale, the last Cy Young Award winner, for the rest of the season.
