Although she has little experience in Grand Slam tournaments, this is her fifth appearance at the US Open. Sofia Kenin, meanwhile, arrives in New York with three consecutive defeats and only one victory on hard courts this summer. Eliminated in the first round in Montreal and Cincinnati, the 26-year-old must bounce back at all costs if she hopes to finish the season on a high note.
