Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus takes on Carson Branstine of Canada in the first round of the 2025 Wimbledon Open.

Branstine earned her place in the main draw of the 2025 Wimbledon Open by going through the qualifiers, where she scored noteworthy wins over French Open semifinalist Lois Boisson 6-2 6-7(1) 6-4, former Grand Slam winner Bianca Andreescu 7-6(3) 4-6 6-1 and Raluca Georgiana Serban 4-6 7-6(6) 6-2. The 24-year-old Branstine has a 6-2 record on the grass this year and 27-14 overall.
