Mikel Arteta's Arsenal continue their Champions League campaign this week with a home clash against Greek league leaders Olympiakos. The Gunners will come into the game in high spirits following their dramatic 1-2 win over Newcastle at the weekend. That victory came courtesy of a 96th minute header from Gabriel, and has moved Arsenal to within two points of Premier League table toppers Liverpool.
Arteta's men also had success in their first Champions League game of the season, as late goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard gave the Gunners a 0-2 win in Bilbao.
Olympiakos started their Champions League journey with a disappointing 0-0 draw against Pafos, in a game that saw the Cypriot side play over an hour with ten men following an early red card.
Domestically, Olympiakos have started the season very strongly, recording four wins and a draw from their opening five fixtures to open up a small lead at the top of the Super League 1.
