Injured for several weeks now, Max Dowman will not be back for this new Arsenal fixture. Otherwise, Mikel Arteta should have a full squad to choose from. He can rely on one of the best defenses in Europe. Imperial in goal, David Raya can count on the support of the excellent central defensive pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel.
The Gunners also have plenty to offer in midfield. Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi, and Martin Odegaard, who was given a breather last weekend, will be eagerly awaited. Up front, Viktor Gyökeres has regained some confidence by scoring in the last two games. He could cause problems for the Blues' defense on Tuesday night, as could Bukayo Saka.
João Pedro is in great form with Chelsea. He has scored four goals in the Blues' last three games.
As for Chelsea, Tosin Adarabioyo, Levi Colwill, Mykhaylo Mudryk, and Dário Essugo are unavailable. Jamie Gittens, who was injured last weekend, remains uncertain for this Carabao Cup semi-final second leg. The same goes for Estêvão, who was not present against West Ham. Liam Rosenior still has a quality squad at his disposal.
He has plenty of talent in midfield, with Moisés Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, and Andrey Santos. In attack, João Pedro is in great form. He has scored four goals and provided one assist in his last three games for the Blues. He will be looking to continue his good form in this decisive match.
