The Arkansas Razorbacks will go for their first SEC win of the season Saturday afternoon when they take on the Texas Longhorns at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, TX. This SEC battle is scheduled to get underway at 3:30 p.m. EST on ABC.

Arkansas is that rare team that never really got that post-firing bump when the school let head coach Sam Pittman go. Instead, under interim HC Bobby Petrino, the Razorbacks have gone 0-5. Now, four of those losses were by a field goal or less. So, they haven’t necessarily been playing poorly; just not well enough to win.  They rank No. 13 in total offense, averaging 470 yards per game. However, what’s killed them is their defense, which ranks 121st in total yards allowed (426.5 per game) and gives up 32.3 ppg. As for Texas, it has not been the kind of year the Longhorn Faithful expected. Arch Manning has struggled more than expected, but luckily, the front seven on defense is stacked with future NFL talent. They have been one of the best at sacking quarterbacks and stingy against the run. When Manning can get dialed in, the offense looks solid, but it is hard to trust him on any given night in how well he and the offense will play.
