Anisimova is the clear-cut favorite at -219 for her upcoming match with Keys on Monday. Anisimova, a finalist at Wimbledon and the US Open this year, fell flat in her tour finals debut as she suffered a heavy beating at the hands of veteran Elena Rybakina 3-6, 1-6. Anisimova conceded four service breaks and failed to convert a single breakpoint against Rybakina in their match. The result handed Anisimova her first loss since racking up six wins to rule the 2025 China Open.
Ranked No.7 in the world, Keys absorbed her third consecutive loss in a women’s singles match following a lopsided loss to Iga Swiatek 1-6, 2-6. Keys, the reigning Australian Open champion, had not played a single match since losing to Renata Zarazua in the first round of the 2025 US Open. Key looked rusty and never looked like a top-caliber player during her match with Swiatek, conceding five service breaks and winning just 14 points behind the first serves.
