One other match that I'm interested in from a betting viewpoint on Saturday is the ATP match between Alex Michelsen and Learner Tien. This all American affair will take place in Toronto, where both players played very well last time out. Michelsen certainly deserves lots of respect for beating Lorenzo Musetti in three sets, and it may be that he kicks on following that big win, but let's be honest, such a victory required a quite large effort, so it's not easy to envisage the higher-ranked player struggling with tiredness. In contrast, Tien has made light work of winning in the minimum number of sets at this tournament, so he may be fresher, while it is Tien who won when the pair last met on a hard surface, so don't be too surprised if the lower-ranked player comes out on top here. I certainly won't be.
