On Friday, one of the matches that I'm most interested in, particularly from a betting angle, is the ATP Buenos Aires clash between Alejandro Tabilo and Tomas Martin Etcheverry. This is a match between two players who are quite closely matched in the rankings, while it's also an all South American affair. For Tabilo, who represents Chile, this may just be a better opportunity than the odds suggest. After all, he comes into this match having beaten the defending champion, and that's not a result to ignore. In fact, in his first two matches at this event, he's beaten the last two defending champions.
Tomas Martin Etcheverry has done nothing of the sort since returning to the clay. Of course, he made light work of winning his first match against a lower-ranked competitor, but he wasn't so fluent last time out, despite facing a player outside of the top 100. Such an effort suggests that he may not be as likely to win this as the early betting suggests. Let's see what happens.

Our Alejandro Tabilo vs Tomas Martin Etcheverry Prediction
The early market has the Argentine as the favorite here, but I'm not sure I agree with that. At the very least, Tabilo looks to have a stronger chance of success than a price of +130 suggests. In other words, I firmly believe that betting on the Chilean to come out on top offer all-important value for money.
For my money, Tabilo has achieved more with his two wins at this tournament so far than Etcheverry has, and off the back of beating someone like Joao Fonseca last time out, he could easily get the better of a player who didn't look too fluent when dropping a set against a player outside of the top 100 last time out.
