The Alabama Crimson Tide will try to remain undefeated in SEC play this weekend when they travel to Columbia, SC, to face the South Carolina Gamecocks at Williams-Brice Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EST, and the game will be broadcast on ABC.

After getting embarrassed by Florida State in the season opener, 31-17, the outlook was cloudy for the Crimson Tide. But a six-game winning streak that includes four in a row against ranked teams has done away with any doubts about the Tide. The run game isn’t what it was in the Saban Era, but Ty Simpson has the passing game clicking and averaging close to 300 yards per game. Their pass defense is ranked 10th in the country, allowing 154.6 yards per game. Incidentally, that is also how many rushing yards they allow per game (83rd in the nation). As for South Carolina, the offense has had some issues this season. It is ranked outside of the top 100 teams in the country in total yards (297.7 ypg), rushing yards (106.6 ypg), passing yards (191.1 ypg),  and points (20.1 ppg). But their pass defense is holding teams to under 200 yards per game (No. 29) and just 20 points per game.
