Tommy Paul and Adrian Mannarino will cap a busy schedule in the French capital as the two established ATP campaigners battle for the right to advance to the second round of the 2024 Paris Masters. After capturing his fourth career ATP title at the Stockholm Open, Paul got wrecked by Brandon Nakashima in straight sets 6-4 6-4 in the first round of the Erste Bank Open in Vienna, Austria. Prior to that loss, Paul had racked up eight consecutive victories with two indoor titles (Antwerp and Dallas) under his belt. Mannarino received a wildcard entry into the Paris Masters. The 36-year-old Frenchman has had a dismal year on the ATP Tour, compiling 15-31 record for a 32.6 percent win rate this year. Mannarino has also lost four of his last five matches, including a 6-3 3-6 7-5 defeat at the hands of Stan Wawrinka at the Swiss Indoors Basel.

Our Adrian Mannarino vs Tommy Paul Prediction
Paul's 8-1 record in indoor matches highlights his dominance in this kind of playing condition this year. His only indoor loss resulted from fatigue as he had been forced to play Brandon Nakashima, an outstanding indoor court player, just over 48 hours after his triumph over Grigor Dimitrov in the final of the 2024 European Open. It would be a major miracle for Mannarino if he pulls the rug under Paul, who swept him in their first encounter 6-2 6-4 6-1 in the second round of the 2022 Wimbledon Open. Our betting prediction of Tommy Paul vs. Adrian Mannarino: Bet on Paul to cover -4.5 games, -115, at BetMGM.
