The Tennessee Titans close out the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars, showing some fight at the worst possible time for Titans fans. Tennessee started the year 1-11 and had the inside track on the No. 1 seed. Instead, the Titans beat Cleveland and Kansas City, and they’ve now put themselves out of the running for the top choice.
But Cam Ward is clearly starting to figure this out. Even though the yardage isn’t there, the decision-making is. Ward has thrown for eight touchdowns and just one interception in his past four games, and Tennessee has made itself competitive for most of the second half of the schedule. Of their past eight games, six have either been wins or decided by eight points or less, meaning Tennessee isn’t a freebie anymore.

Our 2026-01-04 18:00 : Jacksonville Jaguars (116609) vs Tennessee Titans (116601) (id du match: 7640386) Prediction
All of that said about the Titans being competitive didn’t apply when the Jaguars came to Nashville. Jacksonville controlled the game from the opening minutes, got two touchdowns from Trevor Lawrence and eased to a 25-3 win. The Jaguars have been excellent over the past two months, and they’ve needed to be with Houston breathing down their necks.
The scary part for the Titans is that they don’t really have any way to stop the Jaguars’ offense, which has been hitting on all cylinders lately. Since a 35-7 disaster against the Rams and a bye week, Jacksonville hasn’t scored less than 23 points in a game. Usually, it’s been in the 30s, as the Jaguars did to Denver, the Chargers and Indianapolis. Tennessee has nothing to lose and no reason to hold back. If the Titans contribute anything offensively, the total is well within reach, and that seems a better move than expecting the Jaguars to cover a two-touchdown spread against an improving team. Our prediction for Tennessee vs. Jacksonville is Over 46.5.
