Best EPL Player Prop Bets for the Weekend Action
Which player props catch the eye ahead of the weekend action?
There’s a full round of EPL games this weekend, including a heavyweight clash between Chelsea and Arsenal on Sunday, so we have no shortage of action to get stuck into.
As we can see from the above, there are five games taking place on Saturday and five on Sunday, providing us with more than ample opportunity to sniff out player props, and sniff out a few I have. See below for my idea of some EPL player props that stand out as value bets from our top sportsbooks, based on the odds available at the time of writing.
Tottenham vs Fulham: Alex Iwobi 1+ Shots on Target

At odds of -110, Alex Iwobi is very easy to bet on to register a shot on target as Fulham travel to take on Spurs at in North London. For the second time in a matter of days, we saw just how rocky this Spurs side is at the back, and they’re knack of being easy to get at, especially on the break, should leave someone like Alex Iwobi licking his lips ahead of this fixture.
Iwobi can be very effective on the break, while he has a knack of working the goalie, hitting the target last time out against Sunderland, while he’s now registered a shot on target in each of his last two for Fulham. Against a less than well-rested Spurs team, he can do some damage.
Tottenham vs Fulham: Harry Wilson 1+ Shots on Target
Ahead of the same game, which is the late kick-off on Saturday, Harry Wilson is also worth betting on to register a shot on target against Spurs’ dodgy defense.
The visitors winger/forward is no stranger to pulling the trigger, let’s be honest. Wilson has taken more shots than any other Fulham player this season, averaging a promising 2.79 shots per 90 minutes. He failed to hit the target last time out, though that wasn’t for the lack of trying, with the Welsh wizard firing off four shots, a couple of which whistled past the frame.
On international duty recently, Wilson registered three shots on target in a single game, while he’s managed to test the opposing keeper twice in his last two appearances for Fulham, hitting the target this season against Leeds, Brentford, Bournemouth and Wolves.
Against a Spurs team that will give away both shots and chances, a Spurs team that won’t be as fresh as the Cottagers after Wednesday’s UCL exertions, Fulham’s most prolific shot taker is worth supporting.
Chelsea vs Arsenal: Bukayo Saka 1+ Assist
Lastly, I’m focusing on Sunday’s big game at Stamford Bridge, where Bukayo Saka is worth betting on to provide an assist for one of his colleagues.
Somewhat surprisingly, Saka hasn’t registered an assist in the EPL this season, but if we scratch beneath the surface and look at his creativity numbers, then it’s easy to assume that his first assist is just around the corner.
Saka, who averages 0.27 expected assisted goals (xGA) per 90 this term, is Arsenal’s best player in terms of xGA this season, while he’s also been the best performer for the Gunners in terms of key passes (= passes leading directly to a shot) per 90 minutes, as well as the second-best for passes into the penalty area.
Known as a big-game player, do not be surprised if the 24-year-old makes a telling contribution by assisting on Sunday, and at odds of +450, that’s exactly what I’m betting on him to do.
