Group A: Showdown Between Leader and Challenger
Botafogo, the defending Copa Libertadores champion, currently trails in the group standings. The spotlight belongs to Universidad de Chile and Estudiantes de La Plata, who sit first and second with 7 and 6 points respectively, and are set to clash in Chile. Meanwhile, Botafogo will travel to Venezuela to face Carabobo, who sit at the bottom of the group.
