Le Sporting Braga aime cette Coupe du Portugal puisque ce dernier a gagné cette compétition en 2021 et a été finaliste malheureux en 2023. L'actuel 4ème du championnat portugais vise donc logiquement une qualification pour les 1/8èmes de finale. La formation d'Artur Jorge reste sur 2 succès en championnat contre Portimonense (6-1) le 4 novembre dernier et à Arouca (0-1) lors de la dernière journée.
