Face au Séville FC, l'équipe d'Hans-Dieter Flick a dû attendre les prolongations pour s'imposer (2-1). Pas de quoi s'inquiéter toutefois pour la bande à Robert Lewandowski ! Le club allemand aura l'intention d'enchaîner pour la deuxième journée de Bundesliga et un déplacement sur la pelouse d'Hoffenheim.
