Serghei Spivac (17-5-0) and Waldo Cortes-Acosta (13-1-0) will clash in a UFC heavyweight fight on Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Spivac will enter the Octagon looking to bounce back from his painful loss against Jailton Almeida at UFC 311 in January this year. The "Polar Bear" wasn't at his usual best, losing the fight in the first round after a dangerous KO punch. He will be looking to engage his opponent much more this weekend and take the fight to the floor where he's most dangerous.
Waldo Cortes-Acosta, on the other hand, is the in-form fighter in this matchup. He will be fighting to make it five wins on the bounce, his longest winning streak since joining the UFC in May 2019. Most critics praise "Salsa Boy" for his fluid boxing skills, helping him maintain a safe distance while showing his opponents with dangerous strikes. Cortes-Acosta will know that he must stay on his feet and break away from Spivac's clinch to clinch the win on Saturday night.
