The American dealt the most damage with his serves, capturing 81 percent of his first serves and drilling 10 aces. Korda also converted two breakpoint opportunities, which proved to be the difference-maker in this tight affair. Korda improved his indoor hard-court record to 2-1 in 2025. He has 50 career wins in indoor playing conditions.
